Sam&Alice's Venture into Ham Radio

Updated on June 8, 1999

Alice and I each took our amateur radio technician license tests just before we retired and passed. Alice's call sign is KF6FSN, and Sam's is KF6FNY . We are still neophytes and have much to learn about amateur radio.

We operate on the 2m band and are still learning how to work with other hams. If you see us on the road, give us a call. We monitor 146.55MHz simplex when we travel.

As we get into RVing we expect to use amateur radio more and more. At the moment we find it a great way for the two of us to communicate (especially for backing the trailer into a tight camping spot), or if we are out with the Diablo Caravaners, we use it to talk with them.

This page needs more work.
